Every student has the potential to succeed. Sometimes they just need the right support, strategies, and encouragement to get there.
At Mindful Moments, academic coaching goes beyond homework help. We work with students to strengthen the skills that lead to long-term success, including reading comprehension, organization, study habits, executive functioning, and academic confidence.
Through personalized coaching, students learn how to approach challenges with greater confidence, develop effective learning habits, and become more independent learners.
Serving students in grades 5–12 virtually and in person.
Help Your Child Start the School Year with Confidence
A new school year brings new teachers, greater independence, and higher expectations. For many students, that transition can feel exciting—but also overwhelming.
The Summer Bridge Program is a four-week academic coaching experience designed to help rising middle school students build the habits, confidence, and learning strategies they'll need to start the school year feeling prepared.
Rather than simply reviewing academic content, students develop the skills that support long-term success both inside and outside the classroom.
Rising 6th–12th grade students
📍 Available virtually and in person throughout the Charlotte area.
Program Dates: July 13 – August 7, 2026

Hi, I'm Shantae.
I'm an educator, mindfulness instructor, and academic coach with nearly two decades of experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Throughout my career, I've seen that academic success is about more than grades. Students thrive when they feel confident, supported, and equipped with the skills they need to navigate challenges independently.
My goal is to help students strengthen both their academic abilities and their confidence so they can show up as their best selves in school and beyond.
Let's work together to help your student build the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to thrive academically.
